Information:

It is that time of the year again for BIG WEEKEND!! This will be the 9th annual Big Weekend and we are trying to make it bigger and better than ever! What is Big Weekend? Big Weekend is when we, the 4th and 5th grade ministry head on over to Camp Harlow for a 3 Day/2 night weekend of funny skits, crazy games, delicious food and fantastic speakers with one goal in mind: strengthening the kids relationships with Jesus. The theme for this year’s weekend is CANDYLAND! The kids will be immersed in a land of candy where they will be on a journey to find out what it means to live the “Sweet Life” in Jesus Christ.

Our cabin leaders for the weekend are an awesome group of people ranging in all ages from High school and up. All have been thoroughly vetted via background checks and are there cause they have a heart to lead kids in their walk with the Lord. Our team is so excited for this weekend and have been praying and planning about it for months.

This is a great way to get your kids better acquainted to the fantastic Camp Harlow as well. The kids will be staying in cabins and getting to know so many things about the camp. On Saturday we will be having free time where many of the awesome things camp has to offer will be open like the flying squirrel, the zip line.

Big Weekend this year is going to be so “sweet” this year and the kids are going to learn so much about how “Sweet” it is to follow Jesus and live a life filled with Him. Feel free to contact Grant Estrin, 4th and 5th Grade Director, at grante@fbceugene.com or Anna Lancaster, Children’s Pastor, at alancaster@fbceugene.com with any questions that you may have! We cannot wait to see you all out there!
