CityFest is…

CityFest is a movement about serving the city and proclaiming the Good News. Our vision is to see the Christian community come together in unity, service, and proclamation – showing the community-at-large the joy, peace, love, and grace of Jesus Christ.

First Baptist Church and over 100 fellow churches are partnering with the Palau Association to proclaim the Good News. We are beyond excited to see God move in powerful ways as we serve and share the Gospel with our beautiful community. We are going to see the Valley change through the Gospel and love of Christ.

The Festival

You're invited to PK Park on July 28th, 2018

This will be a fun-filled day of music, action sports, activities for kids, and multiple opportunities for individuals to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and the barista who makes your coffee.

Festival Friend Training

Care and share, that’s what a Festival Friend does. At the Festival people will be accepting Christ for the very first time and we need you to be their friend. You get the chance to help someone take their first steps as a Christian. Come learn more about what it means to be a Festival Friend at one of the meetings below. Questions? Take Action!

How can I get involved in some of the deepest needs in our community?

We love our schools! It is our hope to be able to continue serving students and faculty in tangible ways with the love of God. If you would like to know how you can make an impact, please contact Matt Busse at or explore option below.

Project Hope

In 2017, over 13,000 people sought services related to affordable housing in our community. We are looking to create collaborative  solutions for  affordable housing for those who may already be homeless, as well as for those who may be one unplanned misfortune away homelessness. If you’re interested in being apart of seeing change in our community, email John Scholl at For more information click here.

We are serving DHS foster care through Every Child and Safe Families. If you are interested in learning more about how you can make an impact for kids and families in our community, contact Sandy Park at

We continue to listen to God’s guidance for other areas we can serve. Currently, we are partnering with Love INC, a non-profit organization committed to helping serve those in Central Lane County. They offer services like giving rides to appointments or small home repair projects. That is just a small portion of how Love INC serves our community. If you are interested in serving with Love INC, they would love to hear from you at or 541-653-8537.
