Life Groups
We weren't meant to do life alone. Life Groups are highly relational communities that cultivate disciples of Christ who passionately love God, love people, and lead others to do the same.
Life Groups are more than Bible studies. In each one, you will find amazing people, a place where you belong, and intentional opportunities to grow in your faith with Christ.
LIFE GROUP FAQS
What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is a small gathering of people who meet weekly or bi-weekly to share life, study God’s Word, and live it out by loving God and people well. A trained leader shepherds each group.
When can I sign up for a Life Group?
Life Groups are open and can be joined at any time throughout the year. Our leaders are used to having guests, so visiting in the middle of a study is normal and you will feel right at home.

When and where do Life Groups meet?
Life Groups are offered at a wide range of dates and times, so that you can find the one that works for your schedule. They primarily meet in homes across Eugene, Springfield, Coburg, and Creswell. You can find the Life Group closest to you by searching by location.
What will we talk about?
Some Life Groups follow the current sermon series, discussing the previous week’s message at First Baptist through intentional questions and action steps. Other groups follow Bible-based studies. As you explore each group, take a look at what they’re going through.
What about childcare?
We have kids like you and every group has their own approach. For most, it is up to each family to work out their own childcare. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter or to swap childcare with another family whose Life Group meets on a different evening. Others rotate a parent or sibling who can watch the kids in a separate room. Be sure to ask the group leader what has worked best for them.
Are there groups for teenagers?
Our First B students meet on Wednesdays at 6p and Sundays at 10:30a for high-energy games, worship, and small group discussions where they ask questions, process what they’re learning, and apply it to their everyday lives. Check out more here.
