We believe faith flourishes in community. At First B, our ministries are designed to help you connect, build lasting relationships, and find your place to grow. Whatever your age or season of life, there’s a welcoming space for you here.
From 1st B Kids and First B Students to CCF, Men’s, Women’s, and SeniorLife, each ministry is created to support and strengthen you in your walk with Christ. Renewal gatherings and Life Groups offer smaller settings where we share life, pray together, and encourage one another in everyday faith.

1st B Kids
We long to see kids become resilient disciples of Jesus—rooted in faith and alive in His love. Through meaningful, intentional, and consistent relationships, kids will:
- Belong – Be known and loved within the family of God.
- Believe – Place their faith in Jesus and learn to live by His Word.
- Become – Grow as disciples who share their faith and raise up the next generation to lead and love like Jesus.

Middle and high school students, this is your spot! 🎉
Wednesdays at 6 PM = games, live music, and age-specific teaching that connects with your life.
Sundays at 10:30 AM = Bible teaching, small groups, and a place to belong.
Add in epic events throughout the year, and you’ve got a community that’s real, fun, and full of God. Come as you are — you belong here! 🙌
camp harlow
Camp Harlow is a Christ Centered camp that exists to build faith, hope and love in children and youth by providing opportunities to create strong community, engage in fun-filled activities and develop future leaders through a caring and safe camping experience. For seven decades, Camp Harlow has been providing a fun, safe, welcoming environment where kids can come to camp to play, laugh, grow and learn of God’s great love.
collegiate christian fellowship
Unique to First B is Collegiate Christian Fellowship (CCF), our ministry to college students around our area that meets on Thursday nights throughout the academic year and our two residential houses next to the University of Oregon campus; Alpha Omega House for guys and Trinity House for women.
women's ministry
At First B Women, our mission is to welcome and embrace women in every stage of their faith journey. We want to live life together, having fun and creating a community where faith flourishes, friendships deepen and lives are transformed by the love of God. Through intentional fellowship, spiritual growth, and acts of love and service, we seek to know God more and share His love with one another and those within our circles of influence.
men's ministry
Men, we invite you to join us for our whole new men’s ministry line-up for the 2026 ministry year! We are now gearing up for an expanded roster of Men’s Studies, Connection Opportunities for men of all ages (including Dads and Kids events), Retreats, and Community Focused Work Projects … all designed to connect us with God, each other, and the people around us both inside and outside our church family! Our ultimate goal is to come together as men to experience the life of Christ in us and through us as we pursue His purposes for our lives!
seniorlife ministry
As seniors, there is nothing quite like the joy of being actively involved in your church community. Whether it’s attending Bible studies, going on mission trips, or simply being a part of worship and fellowship, you are a vital part of the church family! By getting involved in at First B, seniors can experience friendship, support, growth, and camaraderie — all of which are essential to our physical and spiritual health and wellness. There’s something here for everyone!
life groups
We weren’t meant to do life alone. Life Groups are where our big church becomes personal — a place to be known, encouraged, and supported as we follow Jesus together. In these smaller communities, we open God’s Word, share real conversations, pray for one another, and walk through both joys and challenges side by side.

renewal ministry
Renewal Ministries exists for you. To walk with you through the seasons of life you didn't ask for. Together, our heart is to bring good news to the poor, bind up the broken-hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and comfort all who mourn (Isaiah 61:1-3). missions + local outreach
At First B, our mission is to Love God and Love People — starting right here in Eugene/Springfield and extending to the ends of the earth. We encourage everyone to pray, care, share, and disciple others in everyday life, while partnering with local ministries to serve our community well.
Globally, we support 44 missionary families serving in 20 countries, sharing the Gospel through church planting, discipleship, Bible translation, and leadership training. From our neighborhoods to the nations, we are committed to seeing lives changed by Jesus.
activities ministry
Our Activities Ministry offers opportunities for all ages to build friendships, stay active, and connect in a positive, Christ-centered environment.
From Upward Basketball for preschool through 2nd grade, to a Youth Pickleball League, an Adult Volleyball League, and Men’s Open Gym Basketball each Thursday night at 7:15pm, there’s something for everyone.
